You’ll Laugh So Hard Your Head Will Fall Off

Shaun Of The Dead is a horror spoof, but don’t expect any silly Scary Movie-type skits or big name guest appearances.
The film opens with a few scene changes reminiscent of Requiem For Dream, then jumps right into the humor with numerous false scares.
Soon our protagonist/dumped hero narrowly avoids various encounters with the zombies.
A few scenes later and it’s an all out zombie-fest with the undead coming out of every nook and cranny.
The only way to kill them is to bash them over the noggin with a blunt object… or run them over with your getaway car.
The film dies when the script writer remembers that this is supposed to be a “romantic comedy with zombies” and tries to have the two main characters patch up their love affair in the last scene.
It’s easy enough to ignore the sappy love birds as there are thousands of zombies trying eat their broken hearts.
All in all it’s a hilariously surprising film.
Netflix it!
